What We Offer

We offer full-scope, out-of-hospital midwifery care that walks with you through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum season. Our approach is both clinically grounded and deeply personal—centered on knowing you, supporting you, and caring for you as a whole person.

Each part of our care is designed to create a safe, supported, and connected experience for you and your baby, every step of the way.

  • Our prenatal care is comprehensive, relationship-centered care for low-risk pregnancies. We combine clinical monitoring with individualized support to ensure the ongoing health and well-being of both mother and baby.

Care follows a consistent, evidence-based schedule:

    • Visits every 4 weeks until 28 weeks

    • Every 2 weeks from 28–34 weeks

    • A home visit at 36 weeks to assess your space, review birth setup, and ensure readiness

    • Weekly from 36 weeks until birth

At each visit, we assess maternal and fetal wellness through vitals, urine screening, appropriate labs, fetal growth measurements, and heart tone monitoring. Care includes continuous evaluation for any changes in risk status throughout the pregnancy.

We view pregnancy as a normal physiologic process and prioritize continuity of care, informed decision-making, and respectful, individualized support. Time is intentionally built into each visit for education, questions, and preparation for birth and postpartum.

If concerns arise outside of midwifery scope, we coordinate referrals or co-care as needed—always with safety as the guiding priority.

  • Care during labor and birth is continuous, hands-on, and clinically attentive—supporting the normal physiologic process while remaining prepared to respond to any deviation.

Once active labor is established, we join you and remain present through the duration of labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period. Care includes ongoing assessment of maternal vital signs, fetal heart tones, and labor progression, along with comfort support, position changes, and guidance as needed.

Each birth is attended by a midwife and a trained assistant—often another midwife when available—to support safety and provide comprehensive care for both mother and baby.

Following birth, we remain with you for several hours to monitor recovery, assess bleeding and uterine tone, support initiation of breastfeeding, and complete a full newborn assessment. Newborn medications and screenings are provided as part of care.

If transfer to a higher level of care becomes necessary, we facilitate a smooth transition and communicate directly with the receiving team.

Our goal is safe, supported, and well-attended care—allowing birth to unfold naturally while maintaining clinical vigilance at every stage.

  • Care continues through the first six weeks postpartum, with focused support for both mother and baby during recovery and transition.

We begin with a full newborn assessment after birth and provide standard newborn screenings—including the metabolic (PKU) and hearing screen—in your home. We also complete and file the birth certificate on your behalf.
